10/5/2018 Database Update: Pharmaceutical Drug Import to Russia (July 2018)

Between January and July 2018, Russia imported 291.3 bln RUB worth of ready-made pharmaceutical drugs (free circulation prices), which is in monetary terms 3.2% higher than that of the same period of 2017. The dynamics of the import of in-bulk drugs are +28%, with 62.0 bln RUB. The dynamics of the total pharmaceutical drug import in monetary terms are +7%.

Between January and August 2018, Russia produced 212.8 bln RUB worth of pharmaceutical drugs (dispatch prices, VAT included), which is in monetary terms only 0.1% higher than that of the same period of 2017. In physical terms, Russia produced 2.61 bln units. The dynamics are -10.4%, which have been gradually decreasing for 10 months.

Between January and July 2018, Russia produced 186.5 bln RUB worth of pharmaceutical drugs (dispatch prices, VAT included), which is in monetary terms 2.5% higher than that of the same period of 2017. In physical terms, the dynamics are still negative, -10.4%. Over the period, Russia produced around 2.29 bln units of pharmaceuticals.

8/23/2018 Database Update: Import of Veterinary Drugs, Feed Supplements, and Veterinary APIs to Russia (June 2018)

Between January and June 2018, Russia imported 30.2 bln RUB worth of veterinary products (free circulation prices), among which 16.7 bln RUB of feed supplements (+10% in monetary terms), 12.5 bln RUB of veterinary drugs (+13.6%), and 1 bln RUB of veterinary APIs (+23.6%.)

8/22/2018 Database Update: Pharmaceutical Drug Import from EEU Countries to Russia (July 2018)

Between January and July 2018, Russia imported 6.5 bln RUB worth of pharmaceutical drugs produced in the EEU countries (wholesale prices, VAT included), which is in monetary terms 7% higher than that of the same period of 2017. In physical terms, the dynamics are still negative, -0.6%, as Russia imported around 119.7 mln units of pharmaceuticals.

8/20/2018 Database Update: API Import to Russia (June 2018) August 20, 2018

Between January and June 2018, Russia imported 46.3 bln RUB worth of APIs (free circulation prices, VAT included), which is in monetary terms 30.3% higher than that of the same period of 2017. In physical terms, the dynamics are -4.5%, which is true for the import of both pharmacopoeial and technical APIs. Since January 208, Russia has imported 5.4 tons of APIs.

8/17/2018 Database Update: Pharmaceutica Drug Import to Russia (June 2018) August 17, 2018

Between January and June 2018, Russia imported 244.3 bln RUB worth of ready-made drugs (free circulation prices), which is in monetary terms 2% higher than that of the same period of 2017, and 52 bln RUB worth of in-bull drugs, which is in monetary terms 5% higher than that of the same period of 2017.

8/14/2018 New Database: API Export from Russia

While Russia is still new to pharmaceutical export and the export of ready-made drugs hardly amounted to 22 bln RUB in 2017 (customs duties included, EAEU countries excluded), the API export in 2017 amounted to only 1.2 bln RUB. In a number of cases, it is not exactly export, rather return of import.
