In 2023, around 6.03 million of all types of blood pressure monitors worth 11.87 billion rubles (retail prices, VAT included) were sold in the offline and online retail market in Russia.

In January–November 2023, veterinary drugs on the Russian retail market went up in price 26.5% from the same period in 2022.

Almost half of the respondents, 49.5%, believe that this change is long overdue, since most doctors view accreditation as nothing more than a bureaucratic procedure. Another 22.8% say that the current approaches to personnel policy in healthcare should be changed completely.

In physical terms, 2.26 billion packages were produced, down 6.9% from January–July 2022. If calculated in minimum dosage units (MDU), the production volume was 44.8 billion, down 2.3%.

Almost 80% of Russian doctors oppose the initiatives to increase the birth rate proposed by the Ministry of Health and the State Duma of the Russian Federation, according to a survey conducted by the RNC Pharma analyst company and the Medvestnik platform for doctors. In particular, 47.3% of the respondents consider these measures “perfunctory”, since only an increased welfare of the population and more social benefits can guarantee a decreased abortion rate.

In physical terms, the production volume was 1.64 billion packages, down 9.7% from January–May 2022. If calculated in minimum dosage units (MDU), Russian manufacturers produced 32.2 billion MDUs, down 3.9% from January–May 2022.

In January–March 2023, the online sales or reservations of pharmacy products (pharmaceutical drugs and parapharmaceuticals) in Russia were 80.2 billion rubles (end-user prices, VAT included), up 2.3% from January–March 2022 (against 69.6% in Q1 2022, with its rush demand). This year, however, the online segment has entered a phase of stagnation due to the fact that further development might no longer be possible, when the experimental online sale of prescription drugs launched on March 1, 2023 is stalling.
