9/29/2017 Database Update: API Import to Russia (August 2017)

Between January and August 2017, Russia imported 48.9 bln RUB worth of APIs (free circulation prices, VAT included). Pharmacopoeial APIs account for most of the import (97.4%). The import has risen by 28% in monetary terms, with pharmacopoeial APIs contributing the most. The import of pharmacopoeial APIs has increased by 29%, while the import of technical APIs decreased by 2.4%.

9/20/2017 Dispatch Volumes of Pharmaceutical Drugs from Russian Manufacturers (August 2017)

Between January and August 2017, Russian manufacturers produced and dispatched 212.3 bln RUB worth of pharmaceutical drugs (dispatch prices, VAT included), which is in monetary terms 8.7% higher than that of the same period of 2016. In physical terms, the dispatch volume amounted to 2.73 bln units, which is 2.3% higher than that of the same period of 2016.

9/19/2017 Database Update: Pharmaceutical Drug Import to Russia (August 2017)

In August 2017, Russia imported 45.6 bln RUB worth of ready-made drugs (free circulation prices, VAT included), which is 13% higher than that of the same period of 2016, and 15.1 bln RUB worth of in-bulk drugs, which is 42% higher than that of the same period of 2016 (best dynamics over the past 16 months.) Between January and August 2017, Russia imported 390.4 bln RUB worth of pharmaceutical drugs, which is 4.2% higher than that of the same period of 2016.
