Survey by RNC Pharma and Doktor Na Rabote (Doctor at Work): 88% of Doctors Support their Colleagues in Russian Cancer Research Center

Tuesday, October 15, 2019

Unfortunately, the current situation in the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center with possible numerous resignations of doctors is far from rare. Overworking and low salaries are the main issues that doctors are addressing to the regulators of the healthcare system (see the survey results: what question would you first address to the Minister during the direct line on September 13, 2019 http://rncph.com/news/13_09_2019

Ordinary employees of medical facilities cannot really change the situation, though. 22% of the doctors are ready to try to solve their problems by contacting higher authorities, the Prosecutor's Office, the Presidential Administration, etc., according to an online survey by the RNC Pharma analyst company and the Doktor Na Rabote (Doctor at Work) social network for doctors. The vast majority of the respondents (66%) do not see any other way of expressing protest and conveying their opinions to the regulators of the health care system and that is why they support their colleagues from the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center.

Another 7% of the respondents are ready to look for other ways of protest, including work-to-rule, but given the relatively weak activity of the trade union movement in Russia, it is difficult to take this opportunity seriously. Only 3% of the respondents do not support their colleagues from the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center.

Do you support your colleagues from the N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center in their numerous resignations? (single answer question)
