Survey by RNC Pharma and Doktor Na Rabote (Doctor at Work): 1 in 5 Russian Doctors Ready for COVID-19 Vaccination after Industrial Production Is Launched

Wednesday, August 19, 2020

19% of doctors say that they will definitely get vaccinated against coronavirus after such an opportunity arises, according to a survey by the RNC Pharma analyst company and the Doktor Na Rabote (Doctor at Work) social media service for doctors. Interestingly, a significant part of those who chose to write their own answer (4%) said they refuse to vaccinate due to a previous illness. Another 11% are ready to get vaccinated only if it is a prerequisite for the job, and 15% would like to first learn the experience of their colleagues who will act as pioneers before being vaccinated themselves.

While 40% of the respondents do not plan to get vaccinated, they will not dissuade others either. Out of almost 200 specialists who chose this answer, there was only 1 infectious disease specialist and only 6 resuscitation doctors.

11% of the respondents actively opposed the idea. They not only will not get vaccinated themselves, but also plan to dissuade others from getting vaccinated.

Will you be vaccinated against COVID-19 if the Russian vaccine developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology goes into circulation between August and September? (single-answer question)
