Dispatch Volumes of Pharmaceutical Drugs from Russian Manufacturers (September 2017)
Between January and September 2017, Russian manufacturers produced and dispatched 241.3 bln RUB worth of pharmaceutical drugs (dispatch prices, VAT included), which is in monetary terms 7.2% higher than that of the same period of 2016. In physical terms, the dispatch volume amounted 3.08 bln units, which is only 2.1% higher than that of the same period of 2016.
The September performance is not that impressive. Russian manufacturers produced and dispatched 28.9 bln RUB worth of pharmaceuticals, which is 4% lower than that of September 2016. In physical terms, the dynamics are also negative (-1.4%), with 0.35 bln units. On the one hand, it is due to the high August performance, as distributors had no interest in overstocking their warehouses in the current economic circumstances. On the other hand, it is obvious that Russian companies need additional incentives for development.
In monetary terms, the dispatch dynamics for the period between January and September 2015 turned out lower than that of the import. Russia imported 372.2 bln RUB worth of ready-made drugs (customs clearance included), which is 9% higher than that of the same period of 2016. In physical terms, the dynamics are 6.5%, with 1.47 bln units.
