Dispatch Volumes of Pharmaceutical Drugs from Russian Manufacturers (February 2017)
Between January and February 2017, Russian manufacturers produced and dispatched 45.6 bln RUB worth of pharmaceutical drugs (dispatch prices, VAT included), which is in monetary terms 19.5% higher than that of the same period of 2016. In physical terms, Russia produced 750 mln units, which is around 12% higher than that of the same period of 2016.
In January 2017, Russian manufacturers dispatch 21.6 bln RUB worth of pharmaceuticals, which is 42% higher than that of January 2016, despite the season’s trends. In February, they followed the season’s trends, with the increase amounting to 5% in monetary terms. However, in physical terms, the dynamics were much higher than those of January.
Between January and February 2017, Russia imported 78.3 bln RUB worth of ready-made and in-bulk drugs, which is in monetary terms around 10.3% than that of the same period of 2016. The dynamics for the ready-made drug import are only 4.8%, while the dynamics for the in-bulk import are 43.6% in monetary terms.
